Hi! I’m Pujaa.

I am currently a Deep Learning Engineer at Node.io, an artificial intelligence start up, and the USA Ambassador of WomenInAI, a global nonprofit.

I am currently a fellow at OnDeck, a community of founders, and a technical advisor at Insight Data Science, a community of data scientists.

I created this website to write about machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence. I was previously an engineer at BlackRock.

I graduated from Cornell University with honors, where I was advised by Professor Paul Ginsparg and awarded Exceptional Arts and Sciences Senior. I wrote an honors thesis researching the political environment on Twitter using natural language processing under the supervision of Professor Michael Macy in the Social Dynamics Lab.

I am originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, where I was the state chess champion; I currently reside in San Francisco.
